Why we exist
The middle was missing.
The jewellery aimed at men splits into two useless halves. Below twenty dollars it turns his neck green by the second month. Above five hundred he is too nervous to wear it.
Nothing in the middle was built properly — not for him, and not for whoever is buying it for him three days before Father's Day, holding a phone and hoping.
So: pieces with a reason behind them, in materials that survive a decade of showers and surf, presented in something worth keeping.
Materials
Two materials. No compromises hidden in the third.
316L stainless steel is the marine and surgical grade, molybdenum-alloyed so it resists chloride corrosion. It is what surgical implants are made from, which tells you what it does against skin.
PVD gold bonds the colour in a vacuum chamber rather than dipping it in a plating bath. It is several times harder than standard plating, and the reason our gold pieces carry the same 12-month warranty as the steel.
Full-grain leather on the cuffs, vegetable tanned, which darkens rather than cracks.
