The Valor Promise
Every piece we sell is covered for 12 months from the day it is delivered. If something goes wrong in that first year, tell us and we will gladly fix it.
What it covers
- Tarnishing
- Fading or discolouration of a PVD gold finish
- Clasp failure in normal wear
- Any manufacturing fault
What it does not cover
- Ordinary wear and surface marking — steel picks up fine scratches, and that is the piece being worn rather than a fault
- Impact damage
- Damage from perfume, chlorine, salt water or cleaning chemicals
- Loss or theft
- Alteration or repair by someone else
How to claim
Email carollok3025@gmail.com with your order number and a few photographs of the piece. You do not need to fill in a form or find your receipt — we can look the order up.
If the claim is accepted we send you a replacement at our cost. You pay the postage to send the original piece back to us, and that is the only expense you bear in making a claim under this warranty.
Why 12 months and not longer
Because we would rather promise something we can actually honour than print a bigger number. Twelve months of daily wear is a fair test of whether a finish holds. If a piece is going to fail, it fails inside that window.
In practice we are not strict about the date. If a clasp goes at fourteen months, email us anyway.
Your rights are wider than this
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The Valor Promise is something we offer voluntarily, in addition to those rights. Its conditions — including who pays return postage — apply only to a claim made under this warranty. Where a piece fails to meet a consumer guarantee you may claim under the Australian Consumer Law instead, and in that case you may be entitled to recover reasonably foreseeable costs, including postage.
