1. Who we are
This store is operated by Vance & Valor, 74 Jackson Court, Suite 101, Doncaster East VIC 3109, Australia. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Vance & Valor. “You” means the person placing an order. Contact: carollok3025@gmail.com
2. These terms
By placing an order through this store you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version published when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
3. Orders and pricing
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation, not when payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil an order — the item is unavailable, the address is not serviceable, or the price was listed in error — we will contact you and refund you in full.
We take reasonable care with pricing, but errors happen. Where a price is obviously wrong, we are not obliged to supply at that price.
4. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
5. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping policy and form part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery to the address you gave us.
6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
7. Returns
Our full returns and warranty terms are set out in our Refund policy. In summary: 30 days for change of mind on unworn pieces in original packaging, with return postage at your cost; engraved pieces cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind, because they are produced to your text and cannot be resold; and faulty or incorrect items are replaced or refunded with postage paid by us.
8. The Valor Promise (warranty against defects)
Vance & Valor, 74 Jackson Court, Suite 101, Doncaster East VIC 3109, Australia, carollok3025@gmail.com, warrants each piece for two years from the date of delivery against tarnishing, fading, discolouration and clasp failure in normal wear.
To claim, email us with your order number and photographs of the piece. If the claim is accepted we replace the piece and pay return postage, so you bear no cost in making a claim.
The warranty does not cover ordinary wear and marking, impact damage, damage from perfume, chlorine, salt water or cleaning chemicals, loss, theft, or alteration by a third party.
The benefits given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Product images and descriptions
We photograph our pieces as accurately as we can. Screens vary, and metal finishes photograph differently under different light. Dimensions and weights on product pages are the manufactured specification and may vary slightly.
10. Intellectual property
The Vance & Valor name, site design, photography and written content are owned by us or used under licence. You may not reproduce them for commercial use without our written permission.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 6, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
