The Valor Tin
Wrapping goes in the bin. Boxes get flattened. Tins get kept.
That is the entire reasoning. Every order arrives in the Valor Tin — pressed steel, matte black, with the monogram struck into the lid — and it costs you nothing, because packaging that gets thrown away is a cost we would rather not pass on to you twice.
What is inside
- Your piece
- A cotton card printed with your message, if you left one
- A polishing cloth
- A warranty card
Sending it straight to him
If you enter his address at checkout rather than yours, the parcel goes out with no price anywhere in it. No invoice, no packing slip showing what you paid, nothing on the outside that says what it is.
Your message is printed on the cotton card inside the tin, so it reads as a gift from you rather than a delivery from us.
What people do with the tin afterwards
Cufflinks. A spare watch. Guitar picks. Loose change from a trip. We chose a tin over a box because a tin has a second life and a box does not, and a gift that leaves something behind on the shelf is a better gift.
Adding a message
There is a field at checkout. Write what you want — there is no character limit on the card, unlike the engraving. If you leave it blank the card is left blank rather than filled with something generic.
Every order, every piece, no extra charge, no upsell at checkout.
